 Dr. Harrison is a psychologist licensed in the State of Texas since April 1983.  He practices forensic psychology and neuropsychology and has a full time private practice at 510 Bering Drive, Suite 420, Houston, Harris County, Texas.  He performs forensic psychological evaluations on a variety of populations throughout the State of Texas.   As a former faculty member in the Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Kit Harrison, served as co-director and founder of the first clinic in Texas devoted to the problems of concussions and mild traumatic brain injury.  Dr. Harrison maintains interests and devotion to the issues of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Tourette’s & Movement Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning & Educational Differences, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Other Neurobehavioral Issues.  Consultation on ethical and complex practice issues.  The vast majority of the work his firm does, involves psychological evaluations within the parent-child relationship which can be ordered by family district and county courts as well as hired as an expert witness by counsel in said cases.   He also works on high profile criminal cases  ranging from DUI to capital murder.  He has personally performed over 2500 child custody evaluations in suits affecting the parent-child relationship.  He has contracts with governmental agencies to perform evaluations in both civil and criminal matters and evaluate about 100 sexual offenders per year for various jurisdictions.  He participates in the investigation and prosecution of sexual crimes and allegations of child abuse on a daily basis.   He does extensive training and workshops for doctors, lawyers, and members of the judiciary including speaking annually at the Conference for the Center for the Judiciary.  A copy of his CV is available up professional request.
